The A-Level results are in – and what a year it has been!

Behind every grade lies a story of determination, resilience, and growth: late-night revision sessions, moments of doubt, sparks of inspiration, and the constant support of a community that believes in every student. We are incredibly proud of our Class of 2025 – not only for what they have achieved on paper, but for the confidence, independence, and character they take with them into the future.

At The Grove, we believe education is about more than preparing for exams – it’s about preparing for life. Our Sixth Form is designed to give students the freedom to explore their passions, the structure to succeed academically, and the guidance to shape a pathway as individual as they are. Whether aiming for medicine, music, engineering or entrepreneurship, each student has followed a journey unique to their strengths and ambitions – and today’s results reflect that.
Headline Achievements

• Almost 50% of students achieved ABB or higher.
• 26 students secured straight As or A*s.
• Over 60% of all grades were B or above.
• More than 85% of grades were C or higher.

These are exceptional outcomes, opening doors to leading universities, apprenticeships, and exciting next steps. Almost all of our applicants have secured places at their chosen institutions, with others embarking on specialist training, gap years, or competitive apprenticeships.

GCSE’s 

Celebrating Success at The Grove. Our Year 11s have once again raised the bar with an outstanding set of GCSE results. Behind every grade is hard work, resilience and determination – and we could not be prouder of what this cohort has achieved.

Headline Achievements

  • 141 Grade 9s – accounting for 15% of all grades awarded
  • 12% of pupils achieved 8 or more Grade 8/9s
  • 34% of pupils secured at least six high grades (7 or better)
  • 58% of students gained at least one top grade (7, 8 or 9)
  • 23 students averaged 7.5 or higher across all subjects
  • 89% of pupils achieved five or more GCSE passes

These results reflect the commitment of our students, the expertise of our teachers, and the strength of the school community.
