The Morton Hall | Woodhouse Grove School

Named in honour of Robert Morton, who served the school as both Chaplain and later as Operations Director between 1995 and 2012.

This imaginative redevelopment of the former Woodhouse Grove swimming pool offers the school a multi-use sports facility that doubles up as a specialist exam hall. It is also used for assemblies and exhibitions on a regular basis.

Sporting activities that take place in the Morton Hall include gymnastics, aerobics, dance, fencing, circuit training and table tennis. One of our partner organisations, local archery club Bronte Archers, also use the hall on a regular basis and provide archery sessions for Woodhouse Grove students.

The facility also contains a supplementary smaller exam room and office space for exam administrators.
