Entry into Brontё House and Ashdown Lodge (2-11yrs)
Please note that the last entry point into Brontё is the beginning of Year 5.
For children applying for Nursery or Reception places you will be invited to visit Ashdown Lodge and meet with our experienced Early Years team. Once we have received your completed Application Form we will be in touch.
Entry into The Grove in Year 7
We ask that those registering for September entry apply by the last day of the Autumn term for the Entrance Examination.
This will be followed by an invitation to an Interview with a member of our Senior Staff. This allows us to get to know each child individually and may also include an assessment of reading, verbal comprehension skills and numerical abilities. At this stage we will also apply for a report from each student’s current school.
Once an offer has been made the date of a Taster day will be sent out to you, this is a great opportunity to experience life at our school.
Entry into The Sixth Form at The Grove
Entries into other Year Groups or throughout the academic year
Initially we will invite you to visit the school and fill in our application form. Then we will request a report from the applicant’s current school.
Following consideration of the report, children may then be invited to a Taster Day which will include sitting our Entrance Exams in maths and English and an interview with one of our Deputy Heads. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying school life with the appropriate year group. The Admissions process stages vary at times depending on individual circumstances.
If you have any questions regarding our Admissions Process, please contact Jo Amos, Admissions Manager.
