Dear Fulneck Parents
We were deeply saddened by the news that Fulneck School has made the decision to close from July 2025.
With a similar heritage and values, Woodhouse Grove School offers your child the opportunity to continue their education in the local area - just 20 minutes from Fulneck. We understand that this is a challenging time for families, and we hope this information helps address some of your concerns by providing a clear timeline of our admissions process. Should you wish to consider Woodhouse Grove, we are committed to offering as much certainty and support as possible during this difficult period.
We are currently receiving a high volume of enquiries from Fulneck families and will be attending their School Fair on Wednesday, 2nd April. Owing to limited capacity in some year groups, we encourage parents to complete our Application Form as soon as possible, as enquiries will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are accepting enquiries for all year groups from Reception to Year 13 and are particularly mindful of how we can support families with children in current Years 10 and 12.
What to do now?
1. We kindly ask that you complete our Application Form through the link here
2. Please also send your child’s latest school report to admissions@woodhousegrove.co.uk please include the name of your child and their current year group.
3. For families whose children are studying GCSE and A-Level courses (in current Y10 & Y12) please email the subjects your child is studying and with which examination boards (if known). Children in these year groups may benefit from joining us in the Summer Term 2025. There will be no assessment days for these children, we will review current reports and latest predicted grades as entry criteria.
4. Tours of the school will be arranged on an individual basis and will be available on the Assessment days.

Assessment Days (for entry into Reception to Year 10)
By submitting an Application Form you will also be invited to attend an Assessment day on the following dates:
For all Primary Age children – Tuesday 1st April
For entry into Y7, Y8, Y9 and Y10 – Thursday 3rd April
Details of timings will be confirmed in writing when Applications have been received.
