There are many opportunities outside the curriculum for personal development.
Whilst the work covered in the classroom is important, there are many opportunities outside the curriculum for personal development. There are a number of clubs on offer for all age groups and children are encouraged to participate in at least one co-curricular activity, and many do considerably more.
We believe that this sort of involvement is key to developing confidence and self esteem.
We offer our pupils a variety of trips.
These are in addition to the scheduled excursions that each year group makes and include sports tours and an arts trip to London. All the children in Year 2 also enjoy a residential trip to a destination such as Whitby or the Lake District.
The school operates holiday clubs during all school holidays and, as well as the school run facility, there are opportunities to sign up for externally organised activities too.
