Dear Ashville Boarding Parents
We were saddened by the news that Ashville College, a fellow school within the Methodist Independent Schools Trust (MIST), has made the decision to cease boarding from 2025.
With a similar heritage and values, Woodhouse Grove School can offer your child a continued boarding option, still in Yorkshire, only half an hour from Ashville and with good access to Manchester and Leeds-Bradford Airports as well as Apperley Bridge Train station opposite school with direct access to Leeds.

To ensure continuity of your child’s education we are open to discuss any current fee arrangements you may have with Ashville College.
Due to a number of enquiries from Ashville families we are looking at organising a day where children from Ashville can come to The Grove, have a tour around the school, sit our Entrance exams and generally get a ‘taste’ of the school. We have spoken to the Admissions team at Ashville and the possibility of picking children up from Ashville and returning them in one of our mini-buses. We appreciate some families are time bound with their decisions so we are wanting to arrange this for early March if possible.
