X Factor hopeful Matt Terry was lucky enough to meet Old Grovian, Rebecca (Becs) Ives this Wednesday when he performed in his hometown of Bromley to generate support in the lead up to the X Factor final. Becs was hosting the show.

Becs can certainly offer Matt some great advice on winning a crowd over. After she started hosting Heart FM’s Breakfast Show in 2015, she fast became a favourite with fans, adding another 9,000 listeners in only three months. She also has over 7,000 followers on Instagram and is a popular and experienced live event presenter.

A former Grove Netball Captain, Becs’ passion for sport continues to shine. She was selected to host Red Square Live, a Manchester United fan show, interviewing Manchester legends and giving post-match analysis to live studio audiences. Her popularity then led to her presenting Chelsea Champions League.

You will be able to see Becs presenting Matt Terry’s Bromley appearance on the final of X Factor on Saturday night. Millions of viewers will be watching our girl doing what she does best –  we know who we would vote for if we could!
