Last week, our Brontë House pupils had an inspiring opportunity to visit Leeds Civic Hall and meet with the Lord Mayor of Leeds. This memorable experience gave our young learners a fascinating insight into local government and civic leadership.

During their visit, students explored the magnificent historic building and learned about the important role the Mayor plays in serving our local community. The children asked thoughtful questions about leadership, community service, and what it means to make a positive difference in society – values that sit at the heart of our Grovian ethos.

This enriching experience perfectly embodies our commitment to fostering mature, caring behaviour and high standards of social responsibility. By connecting our pupils with community leaders, we’re nurturing the next generation of confident, engaged citizens who understand their place in the world.

We’re incredibly proud of how our Brontë House students represented the School with such enthusiasm and respect. These real-world learning experiences help prepare our young people to be leaders and changemakers in their own right.
