Boarding Admissions Manager

The Boarding Admissions Manager is responsible for overseeing the admissions process for boarding students, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for prospective families. This role involves recruiting, evaluating and enrolling students while fostering strong relationships with families, agents, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for the transformative power of boarding school education. They will also be committed to upholding the Grovian values of integrity, excellence, and community.

Working Conditions:

Full-time or 4 day a week all year-round position with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities.
Flexible hours between term time and out-of-term working could be discussed.
International travel required for recruitment and networking events.
Office-based or a hybrid role but with the need for regular engagement in school activities and events.
Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience.

Bronte House Part Time Caretaker

The Part Time Caretaker will be responsible to the Lettings, Events and Operations Manager

The role involves carrying out health & safety checks, portering, security, basic maintenance, cleaning and other general school duties:

  • Ensure the security and integrity of the school buildings and grounds through locking and unlocking.
  • General porter type duties including transportation across the site and to the senior school site, of furniture, equipment, laundry, meals, materials, setting up and dismantling, assemblies, stage sets etc.
  • To assist with and maintain records relating to routine health & safety checks such as: Legionella, Fire alarm testing, emergency lighting, visual checks of the building etc.
  • Responding to emergency situations, including but not limited to; fire alarm activations and floods.
  • Escorting and assisting contractors on site.
  • Emptying the internal and external bins.
  • To assist the cleaning team, as required using the correct materials & equipment.
  • Drive school minibus as required, for transporting pupils.
  • Car parking duties at school events.
  • To assist the groundsman in adverse weather conditions.
  • To work across both sites as required.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday

2:30pm to 6:30pm

20 hours per week

All year round

Woodhouse Grove School is a Real Living Wage employer and will be paying a minimum of £12.60 per hour, full time equivalent salary of £26,308.80 from 01 May 2025.
