A vital part of our education ethos at Woodhouse Grove School is getting students out of the classroom and into real-world scenarios and experiences. To enable our students to excel in their studies, we encourage and facilitate fieldwork and industry opportunities throughout our Sixth Form.
As part of our dedication to real-world applications of learning, our Year 13 Biology cohort recently had the opportunity to attend a fieldwork residential at the Cranedale Centre in Malton. Students conducted hands-on research over several days, collecting valuable data for their required practical through observations of environmental interactions and biodiversity.

This hands-on learning experience brought classroom learning to life and highlighted to our students the importance of ecology in understanding and protecting our natural world.
