The countdown is on.

Only 3 sleeps to go until the Grove U18s take on Warwick School in the semi-finals of the Schools Cup at Allianz Park, home of Saracens.

Our boys have had quite a journey to get to this stage. An impressive run featuring wins against Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield, King’s School, Macclesfield and Royal Grammar School, Newcastle led them to the quarter finals where, despite testing conditions, the Grove’s grit and determination paid off with a 27-16 win against Wirral Grammar.
Now just one step away from the final, which will be played at Twickenham, 1st Team Rugby Coach, Joe Bedford says:
“We have had a long wait but the semi final is finally here. We believe we have prepared as well as we can over the last 3 months to give ourselves the best chance of winning on Saturday. I just want everyone to enjoy the occasion now, the boys will have done the school proud no matter what the result but fingers crossed for a great performance.”

The Grove boys will have a lot of support from parents, staff and pupils who are all travelling down on Saturday to watch. If you can’t make it, the game will be streamed live at 3pm via the England Rugby website and the England Rugby YouTube channel.
We’re behind you all the way boys. Do yourselves proud.

I am everything I want to be.
I am Grovian.
