During the summer holidays Emma Wood, Year 8, demonstrated Grovian values when she competed in her first pole vaulting competition in Blackpool – and won. This result ranks Emma 3rd in Great Britain and 1st in Yorkshire for U13 girls. Emma also competed in the West Yorkshire Athletics Championship and came 2nd in high jump and 4th in discus.
