A great session today with a special Royal Marine guest in the HLG during one of our residential camps!
The Commando Chef workshop was packed with energy, teamwork and practical cooking skills, while encouraging healthy eating and positive life choices. Led by Royal Marines, the programme carries the powerful message:
"Knife in the kitchen, not on the street."
It looked like an inspiring and engaging experience for everyone involved.

The bees have moved in! 🐝
At the start of July, our new hive arrived on the B Pitch, home to the trees we planted with Bradford City earlier this year, as part of our growing partnership with the Greener Bantams.
The colony spent their first few days getting used to their new surroundings, learning the scent of the hive and mapping the local area before venturing further afield to forage. This is vital in the survival of the hive, and exactly why they arrived as students departed for summer break!
Professional beekeepers Band of Bees will look after the hive year round, checking in weekly through summer and less often once the bees settle in for winter 💚

Saying goodbye to our Head Prefects 25/26...
Every marathon starts somewhere, for Pippa that was at Brontë House, and for Tish, that was Year 7 at The Grove. This year, as Head Prefects, they crossed the finish line together as incredible representatives of the school.
Thank you, Pippa and Tish, for your leadership, your courage in finding your voice, and for showing our younger pupils what it means to run your own race with pride. The future awaits, and we couldn't be prouder 💚
I am everything I want to be.
I am Grovian.
