The Junior Girls finished an impressive 3rd overall with 269 points, showing fantastic determination throughout the day.
The Junior Boys placed 7th overall with 241 points, competing brilliantly in a number of strong events and delivering some excellent performances.

Life doesn't always stick to a plan. Work trips, early morning fixtures, 4am school trip drop-offs.
Built for day students, our ad-hoc boarding option removes the stress associated with those last-minute changes to schedule. Rather than scrambling to find childcare, our ad-hoc boarding means day pupils can stay for a night, a few days, or longer, with everything a full boarder gets: their own space, supervised study, and a community they already know.

Today at Woodhouse Grove School, we want to celebrate International Nurses Day and recognise our amazing medical team - Alise, Michelle and Alison. 💙
We are incredibly lucky to have an on-site medical centre where our students always feel welcomed, supported and cared for - no matter what problems or worries they may want to talk about.
Thank you for everything you do and for being such an important part of our community. We truly appreciate you all. #InternationalNursesDay

This week, our Sixth Form Maths Mentors completed their final mentoring sessions,
and were rewarded with a token of appreciation from Mr Walker, our Head of
Mathematics.
A message from Mr Walker:
'Throughout the year, these pupils have made a significant contribution to the
department. They have regularly supported lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, working
alongside teachers to help pupils develop confidence and understanding in
mathematics. This has included offering one-to-one support, guiding pupils through
classwork, helping to address misconceptions, and encouraging a positive attitude
towards problem-solving.
They have also assisted with revision and intervention sessions, and some of them
contributed to the Fun Maths Roadshow, helping to engage younger pupils with
mathematics in a fun and accessible way.
Their enthusiasm, patience, and willingness to give up their time have had a clear
impact on the pupils they have worked with, and they have been excellent role models
within the department.'

Today marks the final day before exam leave for our amazing Year 13s at The Grove. Some of you have been here since the age of 2, while others joined us in Sixth Form - but every single one of you has been a pleasure to teach and to have as part of our Grove community.
We have seen just how hard you’ve worked this past year and we know you are going to smash your exams. We hope you enjoy every moment of your leavers’ celebrations over the next few months.
I am part of something special.
I am Grovian.
So here’s to our Year 13 sign out - good luck, Class of 2026! 🎓
