87% of boarding students feel very well prepared for university-level academic rigour, compared to 39% in state-schools.
At Woodhouse Grove, our boarding community gives young people something that can't be replicated in a timetable: the space to become themselves. To build work ethic, self-discipline and genuine resilience, not because they're told to, but because the environment demands it and supports it in equal measure.
If you're exploring independent options for your child, we'd love to show you what boarding life at The Grove looks like.

Throw back to our Netball squad in the Caribbean! 🏐🌴
2024 saw our girls take their skill, teamwork and determination all the way to the Caribbean, and they delivered in style. Competing abroad challenges our athletes in ways that go far beyond sport, fostering resilience and a truly global outlook.
Behind every tour like this is the support of our 100 Club, a monthly prize draw open to parents, alumni and friends of the school. Every entry makes a difference.
