So…we wanted to create a video about our school, to showcase what makes Woodhouse Grove so special. We talked long and hard about how to do this – who could we trust to capture the heart of the place? Who knows The Grove inside out, loves it like we do and will take care to do it justice? The answer was obvious – one of our own, of course; old Grovian Kia Rika-Rayne.
We are immensely proud to present Kia’s video. He has worked long and hard on it and the result speaks for itself.
Kia joined The Grove in Year 8 and was with us until he left after completing his A Levels in the summer of 2016. Kia took a year out, during which he travelled throughout Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. During this time, he kept a daily video diary documenting his experiences and it was this “vlog” that made him realise where his true passion lies.
On his return to the UK, Kia set up Rayne Drop Productions, creating bespoke videos for private and corporate clients. His business is going from strength to strength and it is clear to see why. We hope you enjoy what he has created for The Grove.
