Victorious U15A Netball Team

Our U15A Netball girls earned a hard fought victory in the School Sports Magazine Netball Cup and became Northern Champions. They have faced some tough opposition en route, but this North Final against Stockport Grammar was the most challenging with a nail biting last quarter.

Often in adversity – standing water on courts, score mix ups and some interesting umpiring – they have remained their happy, well motivated and driven selves. This team spirit and their focus and dedication to training has been faultless and they fully deserve to be in the National Semi Finals.

Below is their pathway to victory so far:

  • First Round: BYE
  • Second Round: Queen Margaret’s School, York = WON 42-11
  • Third Round: St Aidan’s Church of England, Harrogate = WON 57-17
  • Fourth Round: Teesside High School= WON 38-14
  • Quarter Finals (north final): Stockport Grammar School = WON 39-34

Their opponents in the National Semi Finals are still to be announced but whoever it is will need to be on top form to beat our girls. Well done girls and good luck in the next round!
