Block fixtures are a huge part of life at The Grove and something we are incredibly proud of. They offer more than just competitive games – it’s about participation, support and friendships.

On a typical Saturday, more than 200 pupils take to the field, court, track or pitch to represent the school. With both home and away fixtures there is plenty of sport in action.

Whatever the sport or level, everyone plays their part. From Year 7s representing The Grove in their first fixtures to a Year 13 wearing school colours for the final time.

With laughter on morning bus journeys, celebrating each other’s successes from the sidelines and making lasting memories with friends, Saturday block fixtures bring the whole school community together.

That community extends beyond our pupils too, with parents regularly travelling to away fixtures and getting behind our teams. Our parent support is second to none!

As another successful round of fixtures comes to a close, one thing is certain: we cannot wait for next Saturday.
