The conference speakers include:
Former England cricketer Jeremy has played limited over Internationals and was the 20/20 Captain for Leicester. He holds a masters degree in Sports Psychology and has worked with a number of cricket, football and rugby union teams.
A Queenswood and Kingswood School alumni, Ann is an Art Historian, Exhibition Curator and Museum Director. She is also the current Chair of the Methodist Modern Art Collection.
A Bradford born author now living in London. Sharon's latest book, The Mother of the Brontës: When Maria Met Patrick – is out now.
Sarah has worked as a doctor in the UK for 25 years, providing frontline medical care within the NHS, and seen first hand the effect of work on health and vice versa. She is passionate about bringing together the science of good physical and mental health in the workplace and is currently assisting Woodhouse Grove with a Staff Wellbeing project.
Since her sister, Jo Cox's death, Kim has been working to create a positive legacy for Jo, with a specific focus on social cohesion and creating positive relationships within our communities. Under the "More in Common" theme, taken from Jo's maiden speech in Parliament, Kim is Chair of the Batley & Spen 'More in Common' team of volunteers.
Jamie is a retired professional rugby league player and has played for Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls in the Super League, as well as being Captain of both Great Britain and England at International Level. Jamie is one of the most successful players in Super League history, having won a total of nine Super League Championships and four Challenge Cup winners medals. He has been named in the Super League Dream Team on eleven occasions and won the Man of Steel Award in 2003.
Gervase is a British author and educator, with a particular interest in children's literature and literacy. He began a career in teaching after graduating from Leeds Trinity University in 1970. He then became a schools inspector and, latterly, Visiting Professor of Education at the University of Teeside.
