After what will be eleven years of devoted service, Mr Simon Dunn is to leave Brontë House at the end of next academic year (summer 2019), having been appointed Headmaster of St Martin’s School, Northwood in Middlesex. This is a signal appointment and I am delighted to share this news with you.

I am sure you will wish to join me in congratulating Simon on his appointment, whilst also registering Woodhouse Grove’s thanks for his passionate commitment towards all things Brontë House. The School’s search for a new Headteacher for September 2019 will begin in earnest in the autumn. I will, of course, provide updates over the appointment process in due course.

In the meantime, we will continue to benefit from another year of Simon’s dedicated leadership. In addition to which, I have no doubt that we will find an appropriate time to say farewell and recognise Simon’s significant contribution to Brontë House and the wider Woodhouse Grove community.

James Lockwood
Headmaster, Woodhouse Grove School
