Our very own Old Grovian, Ellie Kildunne, has been shortlisted for the 2025 BBC Sports Personality of the Year!

It’s a strong shortlist, but we know who we’re voting for!

Old Grovian, Ellie Kildunne (11-16), wowed her coaches at The Grove back in the day – and, this year, she wowed the globe with her winning Red Roses performance in the Women’s Rugby World Cup.

Ellie has never forgotten her Grovian roots and has shown her support to the school and it’s pupils many times over the years – most recently cheering on our Alumni netballers in Dubai.

We’ll all be watching and voting on Thursday 18th December, Ellie.
