New Assistant Head (Staff Development) Appointed

We are delighted to announce that Vicky Limbert has been appointed as our new Assistant Head (Staff Development).

Having advertised the position externally, we were overwhelmed by the level of interest and received over 50 applications from high quality candidates from across the length and breadth of the country.

All candidates were assessed through a thorough recruitment exercise, conducted with the support of a consultant to provide external assessment and validation. The selection panel was hugely impressed by Vicky’s performance in all aspects of the selection process and were unanimous in their view that she had the requisite skills and range of experience to successfully meet the challenges of this demanding role.

The Assistant Head (Staff Development) is responsible to the Headmaster / Deputy Head for ensuring that there is continued excellence, reflection and development amongst the staff of our vibrant, culturally diverse and thriving school, and that on a day-to-day basis, staff are empowered and supported to deliver the best possible education within and beyond the classroom.

Vicky had this to say about her new role:

“Having been at The Grove for four years now, I am very much looking forward to the exciting opportunity of working across the school in my new role. Excellent teaching is at the heart of everything we do, and continued staff development is crucial in maintaining high standards. Teaching and learning is constantly developing and I am excited to be part of the team leading and implementing effective initiatives.”

I am an individual, yet I am part of something incredible.

I am Grovian.
