Spring is in the air and Grace Ross, Year 5, certainly has a spring in her step. After a fine third place finish on Saturday at the Leeds Cross Country at GSAL, Grace travelled to Temple Newsam on Wednesday to compete in the West Yorkshire Trials. Grace was competing against the County’s strongest Year 5 female athletes and needed a Top 10 finish. She ran a great race, finishing in seventh place overall and will now represent the County at the English Schools National Championships in Leicester in two weeks time.
