The Sixth Form at The Grove offers students a wide range of co-curricular activities, from performing arts opportunities and music groups to sport and community service. We understand that not all life lessons can be taught in the classroom – and also that having fun is important!
Our co-curricular offering helps students build friendships and develop leadership and other skills. Whether it’s sport, music, the performing arts or community service activities, there’s something for everyone. Pupils can also sign up for academic extension programmes, such as the Chemistry Olympiad.
From sports tours in the Caribbean to Duke of Edinburgh expeditions closer to home – our Sixth Form is your chance to explore the world.
Our sports tours are a unique element of our co-curricular programme here at The Grove. Exclusively for senior students, these trips present the opportunity to represent the Grove on an international level.
Recent destinations include the Caribbean for Netball and Cricket, and South Africa for Rugby. Students compete against local teams whilst experiencing new cultures and creating lifelong memories.
Below is an example of our typical Spring Term co-curricular offering. We pride ourselves on catering to diverse interests and commitments, whether you’re aiming for first team selection or exploring something new, there’s a place for everyone.
We want every student to find activities they enjoy and can take pride in at Woodhouse Grove.
