We're looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Ashdown Lodge, our dedicated pre-school and nursery.
This is a full-time, all-year-round role working 37.5 hours per week. You'll be helping to create a nurturing, encouraging environment where children can learn, play and grow with confidence.
What we're looking for:
You'll need a Level 2 qualification in Early Years (or higher) and a genuine love for working with young children, preferably with experience in a school environment.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to providing excellent care. You should be comfortable working as part of a team and able to build warm, trusting relationships with both children and their families.

A few weeks ago, Old Grovian Alfie Longstaff visited the Grove to speak with our GAPP students about balancing university life with playing professional rugby. The Year 7 & Old Grovian Letter Exchange Project is complete!
Yesterday, every Year 7 student will receive their reply letter from an Old Grovian - a moment we’ve all been eagerly waiting for.
It has been truly wonderful to receive letters from Old Grovians all over the world, sharing their school memories, knowledge and thoughtful advice for our Year 7 students. The letters are filled with such positive words of encouragement and support - simply beautiful and a true reflection of what it means to be a Grovian.
A heartfelt thank you to every Old Grovian who took part in this very special project. The students LOVED them. ✉️

The 2025 BBC Sports Personality of the Year is decided this evening. It’s a strong shortlist, but we know who we’re voting for!
Old Grovian, Ellie Kildunne, wowed her coaches at The Grove back in the day – and, this year, she wowed the globe with her winning Red Roses performance in the Women’s Rugby World Cup.
We’ll all be watching and voting, Ellie. You’ve got the whole Grove community behind you. 💚⭐
