Admissions & Fees
We are always delighted to hear from families considering boarding at The Grove and try to make the admissions process as simple as possible.
Please follow our step-by step guide below:
1. Contact us – Our Boarding Admissions Manager is ready to talk you through the process, guide you through our resources and answer any of your questions. Please call +44 113 250 2477 or email Humphries.L@ woodhousegrove.co.uk
2. Apply – Once you decide you wish to proceed, please complete our online application form below. There is a fee of £150 inc VAT.
3. ID verification – We will acknowledge your application and request a copy of your child’s most recent school report and passport.
4. Assessment – We will arrange for entrance examinations to be taken, which if you cannot visit the school, will be online through a company called Password. There will be a Maths paper and an English paper. You will also be invited to an online interview with a senior member of staff.
5. Decision – We will notify you of our decision within 5 working days. If your child is offered a place, you will then move to Stage 6.
6. Acceptance – You will need to complete and sign the offer paperwork and pay an acceptance deposit of £5,000 (part returnable on your child leaving the School). We will acknowledge receipt and inform you of any next steps. Should a visa be required, we will also instruct our retained immigration consultants, Newland Chase, to contact you directly to guide you through the visa application process.
7. Welcome & start of term arrangements – Your child’s new houseparent will send these out closer to the time of your child starting, detailing what to bring, arrival arrangements and what to expect in the first few days.
To chat through any questions you may have or advise on the process of moving into boarding or becoming an international student here in the UK, please contact our Boarding Admissions Manager, Humphries.L@woodhousegrove.co.uk or call +44 113 250 2477
