This week, our Year 9 students and their families gathered for our annual Options Evening – a pivotal moment as they finalise their GCSE subject choices.

Whilst we begin preparing our students for their GCSE examinations from Year 7, this evening allowed students to explore the full breadth of the specialist subject options we have available, helping students make informed decisions aligned with their strengths and aspirations.

Assistant Head (Sixth Form and Futures) Chris Softley led an informative talk in the McCarthy Theatre for all soon-to-be Key Stage 4 students, along with their parents and carers, about the option selection process, and the extensive support we offer in this transitory period.
